What I Do:

  • Premiere, DaVinci, Avid, Final Cut, etc. You name it, I can use it.

  • Fluent in After Effects while proficient in Nuke, Blender, Cinema4D.

  • I know my levels, I know my compressors, and I know the difference between White and Pink noise.

  • While much of design is subjective, following simple design rules goes a long way in terms of audience perception.

  • As an editor, I turn vibes into content. The same is true when presenting a brand.

  • DaVinci is awesome.

  • Various plug-ins, scripts, and expressions are complex, but putting in the effort to learn and apply their uses is worth it.

  • Most of my career has revolved around social media content creation. I have an understanding of what works, and what doesn't. With The Daydream Arcade, I have increased engagement by 10 times in 12 months.

  • Photoshop, Various AI tools.

About Me

My name is Will Previdi. I am a Video Editor with a BFA in Film/Television with a concentration in Editing. I live in Philadelphia, PA.

While I am a video editor. I most truly see myself as an Assistant Editor. This statement does not serve to belittle what I do. Rather, it serves to elevate the skills at which I am most competent. I am a workflow specialist.

My career began at DePaul's creative marketing office in 2022. In April 2023, I got accepted as an intern in creative services at NBC Chicago. When my internship ended, NBC hired me as a freelance Creative Marketing Producer. Now, I am doing lots of stuff! I am working on The National Scrollathon as a video editor, I am continuing to manage The Daydream Arcade on YouTube, I coach track and field and cross country at Germantown Friends School, I compete internationally in track for Keski-Uudenmaan Yleisurheilu, and I recently wrapped my first documentary credit as an Assistant Editor on the latest André Robert Lee film, This Too is Healthcare.

I have recently graduated from DePaul University. I completed 4 years as a scholarship-earning student athlete at DePaul University competing in NCAA D1 Track & Field/Cross Country. In 2022, I qualified for the U20 World Championships in the 3k Steeplechase. I completed all 4 years with Big East All-Academic honors. In 2023, I earned All-Big East honors in the outdoor 4x800. In 2025, I placed 8th in the Finland National Championships.

On a more personal note, I want to do something with my life. I want to emphasize the importance of being an informed member of society. I want to lead by example by doing what I can with the resources available to me. I believe that being honest with oneself is one’s most important quality. The impact of my actions in this aspect of my life is invisible. With my work, I get to see my impact. Editing takes people’s beautiful ideas and makes them shareable with the world. I love my work because, most simply, I help make people’s dreams come true.
